If you meet the qualifications for a PHS PTA Scholarship we’d like to hear from you.

Some of the things you need to know are listed below. Please download the PDF application at the bottom for the rest of the details, as well as to complete for submission.

Applications

• Applicants must be Paschal High School Seniors planning to pursue either a two
or four year program of higher education.
• Applications must be received by the PTA Scholarship Committee, Attn: Crystal Williamson, c/o Paschal High School, 3001 Forest Park Blvd, Fort Worth, TX 76110, or in the Paschal High School
Counseling Office, by 3 p.m. on, March 1, 2012. No incomplete or late
applications will be accepted, including letters of recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum GPA of 3.8 for Acheivement Scholarship and a 3.0 for Opportunity Scholarship
• Active participation in at least three extra-curricular activities during your high
school career.
• Two Letters of Recommendation, one of which comes from a PHS teacher.
• Completion of the application with essays, recommendations and supporting
documents received by the deadline as stated on the application.

Information about the Scholarships

• Number of scholarships awarded and scholarship amounts will be determined
based upon total funds available. The amount awarded to each student will be
the same.
• The scholarship is awarded one time and is not renewable
• Funds may only be applied to the tuition payment
• Recipients will be recognized at a year-end event determined by the Scholarship
Committee at which the students and their parents may attend.
• Should you receive a scholarship for full tuition to the college you choose to
attend, you will notify this committee of that award and return the funds from this
scholarship.
